TOKU Systems is pleased to be a finalist for a 2022 ASTech Award in the category of Environmental Innovation in Energy Applications.
The innovative TOKU system increases production, protects the environment, and reduces operational risk using remote Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
TOKU’s IIoT system provides continuous operational visibility, high-quality data, and cost-effective remote monitoring. This allows energy companies to see into their operations like never before and provides the opportunity to identify opportunities to increase productivity. TOKU’s IIoT system was designed to encompass many applications to reduce the environmental impact of oil and gas operations.
The all-in-one integrated package includes power, communications, a controller, and a sensor and is so compact, it can easily be held in one hand. It is a tough industrial grade device with Class I certifications for Division 1 & Zone 0 hazardous environments. The sensitive, high-performance pressure monitoring system provides per-second, high-resolution pressure data that is also time synchronized and temperature compensated. This kind of data allows energy companies to reduce power consumption of pump jacks by up to 60%, increase gas production by up to 20% with effective slug monitoring, and reduce costs and risk with instant alarms for critical events like leaks.
The 33rd ASTech Awards gala is taking place November 4th in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The ASTech Awards recognize the greatest achievements of outstanding organizations in the Alberta science and technology innovation community.
